Previous programs

Congo

Eastern Congo is a conflict area where the position of women is vulnerable. Many women have experienced trauma such as violence, abandonment of partners, or sexual violence as a result of the conflict and poverty in the region. Read more.

In 2021, Found started their first program in collaboration with a local organization in Goma, Congo with 100 women.

The stories of women who attended the program were life-transforming.

In 2022 Found extended its program for 200 women. Did a follow-up day for 100 women from previous programs in 2021. A pilot program was released as a follow-up program and 20 leaders are trained to lead a small group program. A local program assistant was hired to empower and monitor the small groups. In 2023 programs increased not only in numbers but also in extending new programs to create a more holistic approach in transformation to not only women, but the system around the women.
